Privacy policy

How we process personal data.

This notice is provided under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 to Diodoros Academy visitors and to anyone submitting an enquiry or application.

01

Data controller

The data controller is Zarabazzara Srls, registered at Via San Girolamo 69, 92100 Agrigento, Italy, VAT no. 03045420845, REA AG-223293. For privacy enquiries, email info@diodorosacademy.it or call +39 392 686 9736.

02

Data we process

The site may process technical browsing data required for operation and security. The form collects full name, email address, telephone number, reason for contact, programme of interest, message, language, interview request and any CV submitted. Subsequent correspondence may contain further information supplied voluntarily.

03

Purposes and legal bases

Data is processed to answer enquiries, assess applications, arrange interviews and manage partnership proposals as pre-contractual steps requested by the data subject (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). It may also be processed to comply with legal obligations (point c) and to protect the site from abuse and security incidents in the controller's legitimate interests (point f). The site does not carry out profiling or solely automated decision-making.

04

Providing information

Fields marked as required are necessary to handle the request. The CV and interview request are optional. Please do not include special-category personal data in messages or CVs unless strictly necessary and specifically requested at a later stage.

05

Processing, recipients and transfers

Data is processed using digital systems and measures appropriate to the risk. It may be accessed by authorised staff and technical providers supporting hosting, storage and maintenance, appointed as processors where required. Data is not made public. Any transfer outside the European Economic Area is carried out under Chapter V GDPR through an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards.

06

Retention

Data is retained for as long as necessary to answer the enquiry, assess the application and manage any resulting relationship. The period is determined by the duration of the procedure, the need to document communications and applicable legal duties. CVs that are no longer relevant are deleted or anonymised; where a relationship begins, necessary records are retained for the periods required by administrative and tax law.

07

Your rights

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object where provided by Articles 15-22 GDPR by emailing info@diodorosacademy.it. Where processing relies on consent, consent may be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
